The couple
Joan and Adam met in late 2003 in AP Chem. class (after God asked Joan to take an Advance Placement Class). They were seated next to one another and along with Grace Polk and all three were asigned as a study group. Throught the first season, Adam and Joan had major ups and downs when it came to their relationship but Joan finally awoke to her feelings for Adam and the two were practically inseperable till the end. Girardi and Rove...
Joan Girardi is a fairly typical 16-year-old with an extraordinary secret: She has conversations with God. It's not a mighty voice or a big ball of light, however; God delivers his messages through everyday people who come in contact with Joan. Some of the Big Guy's incarnations have included "Cafeteria Lady God," "TV Anchorman God," and "Goth Kid God," and all of them give Joan vague instructions that lead to her involvement in other people's lives. Adam Rove is the friend and love interest of Joan. A boy that loves the art, a boy that lost her mother and he has some problems.
